Effective January 1st, 2005 all skateboarders under the age of 14 are required to wear
helmets (bicycle-approved type) while skateboarding.
The Village of Sodus Point skateboard park requires all users, regardless of age, to wear
helmets while using the park.
These two regulations will be monitored and enforced by the Police Department.
The skateboard park may be temporarily closed if following actions continue: trash
being left in park, damaging property, and/or continued breaking of posted rules, per
recent observation.
Please contact the Police Department if there are any questions regarding the above notice. Always report any
suspicious activities.
